Hi my name is Kimberly and I’m a children’s English tutor from near Melbourne, Australia. I’m in my third year of tutoring exclusively online after being involved in education for over seven years.
I work with students learning English as a second or foreign language, and also with students needing extra support or extension with their English studies at school.
My goal is to share my love of learning with my students, building their confidence, as well as their competence, in English.

Organic English (Kimberly)
I tutor students in 1:1 and 1:2 English reading and comprehension classes with Organic English. My interactive classes utilise fiction and non-fiction texts to build reading, comprehension and speaking skills.
Cluey Learning Australia (Kimberly)
I tutor Australian Primary School students 1:1 in years 2-6 for Cluey Learning. I support their learning with classes mapped to the Australian National Curriculum, focusing on core literacy skills, including reading and writing techniques and grammar and punctuation. Each class is tailored to the student’s individual learning goals, providing them with extra support if they need catch up, or extension to excel.
Whales English Pre-K — G1A Teacher (KimberlySh)
I tutored students between the ages of 3-12 in a 1:2 classroom at Whales English. I evaluated their performance and tailored classroom activities using Whales’ Oxford and National Geographic curriculums. In class, I taught new vocabulary, modelled and scaffolded grammar, developed reading fluency and comprehension.
BlingABC Tailored Course Teacher (KimberlySh)
I also delivered online English classes to groups of 6-18 students at BlingABC. I helped students build new vocabulary, developed syntactic awareness and phonics knowledge. In each class I also facilitated pair and small group work to develop students’ communication skills.
